Bandit Lover

heart, heat and hands; gold is foolish plunder.
convict, vagrant, this harried, bandit lover,
sidles on, beneath the starlit cover,
prize, he pries, to pluck your lips' flower.

Lover's heist; through the walls of your reproach,
stealing, before you find true love someday,
weeping, fleeing your neck and bosom's touch.
clap 'em in couplets, oh lock me away:

give me the girl with bright, alarming gaze,

give me the girl with roving, spotlight eyes.
