Corn :)

David was over at my house one day and he ate Supper with me and my parents. We were having Corn on the Cobb and I was worried. In my family we have this tradition of putting Sour Cream on our corn. Well when I eat Corn it usually ends up all over my face. I didn't want David to see this. I did the mistake of telling him that it gets on my face and he watched me eat the Corn the whole time. My sister then walks into the Kitchen and tells me I have Sour Cream on my face and I looked at David and asked him why he didn't say anything. He just laughed at me. So everytime we have Corn on the Cobb I think of him.

What makes you think of your Soldier??

Aw, that is cute. I think of David everytime I see camo. And it is everywhere I go. Also and Icarly makes me think of David we were always watching that show.

Cowboy hats & boots : ) My Eli is a true-blue countryboy from a little town in northwest arkansas & he's rode bulls for as long as i can remember. So everytime i see cowboy hats & boots (which isnt hard at all bc i live in Nashville, TN) i think of my baby : )

Lots of things remind me of my soldier. One of my favorites is when random people use the word ditto. I know that sounds strange but when I first told him I love you he was still in the process of divorcing a spouse who'd had an affair while he was deployed. He didn't feel right telling me he loved me even though he tells me all the time now that he loved me almost from the day we met. ( I worked for his attorney) Anyway instead of saying I love you or I love you too he would say ditto. whether I had said it first or not, so now everytime a random person says ditto to me I remember I am loved by one hell of a soldier.

awe cute story.. "Come on get higher" by Matt Nathanson reminds me of my soldier, because we were in the can listenin to the radio, i had been down because i was moving soon. but when that song came on he burst out singing the words to that song, and we had a moment where we just looked in each others eyes and he song to me. which brightne my day.

Aw, I love that song too :)

That is a funny story. The song "Smile" by Uncle Cracker makes me think of my Airman everytime it comes on the radio. The first time we met (because we met online) we were going to his nephew's bday party. He knew I was soooo nervous to meet his family. On our way to his Aunts house that song came home. I look over and he is dancing to it. I couldn't stop laughing. :)
