have been a church memeber for quite some time. I have been a christian, truly, since I was about 11 years old. I have been attending this one church called Miami Baptist Church for a decent amount of years.
I was once being ministered to and fed in the terms of receiving the word. And I still am. However, As of a month and a half ago, I have become a Youth Leader myself. Every Sunday morning, I lead a small group class. It ranges from 9 to 23 year olds. Seeing as how I'm 19, it's pretty interesting teaching the older crowd.
My ministry is tough because I don't quite have the respect I deserve because of my age, but I get by. My main concern is engaging my students and hopefully making some kind of impact. They aren't just my students, they are friends as well.
Sometimes, I find that I'm not as entertaining or as affective as I should be.
I have come full circle within the church and I intend to go the distance. I just hope I'm adequate enough.
