I Am A Person Who Will Come Up With An Answer. Ask Me Anything.

I am the kind of person that people often come to for advise.  typically I have a good answer, if I don't really have a good answer, I will come up with something.  Try me.

Can you get your dad to pay for say, a routine physical and have things checked out, then when you tell your mom, you'll know if there is really any reason to worry.

Okay. I have been having chest pains for about two months now, yet I can't work up the nerve to tell my mom (she is in the midst of a messy divorce and very stressed). I'm pretty sure that the pain is stress-related, but better safe than sorry, right? Until I turn 18 my father pays all med bills, I turn 18 in September. How do I go about telling my mom about this touchy subject. She's gonna get really worried (she's a mother, or course), and freak out, so I need a gentle, yet urgent way to tell her about this.
