When Is It Not Worth It

When is it that we should give up our personal freedoms? Love, dose that qualify? Dose loving someone mean not being you. Or is there some fine line in the sand? Or is the line deep and none flexible?
I think for me it is deep and not flexible. I have given up some wonderful things, people, even love.. over personal freedoms. Am I flawed? Or are those that place such demands flawed?
I am thirty one years old. I see what some of my choices have cost me. I must be flawed, broken or something....

You are not flawed. You just need to find someone who understands you and can love you.
