So what is your problem? You are free to wear dresses and bras and womens underwear if you want to. There is no law in the US against that.

But I do not believe that this will spread. The vast majority could care less about this fetish or about a right to wear this or that. They just wear what they feel comfortable to wear. That is it.

I see your still up to being a dreammmwrecker. What's with all the distention? why is it that you find it so important to be the naysayer? You may be pragmatic, but you could be a more liked pragmatist if you'd just put on a happy face!

I have read several stories here on EP that say there are laws on the books in several cities/towns prohibiting cross dressing and one can go to jail,

I'm sure that in some towns off the beaten path, you might find one or two of these laws. But typically there aren't what you could run up against though is someone making a complaint, it being addressed by a not so inform peace officer, and you going to the pokey because of their interpretations of lewd and lascivious behaviors. I do though remember (of course this was MA) doing some seminars with the state police, to set up "sensitivity training seminars". Most metropolitan area's are "tolerant" to your individuality, They don't want to be set up for a law suit.

@ Joanie: Why dont you simply try to read carefully what I write and then respond? I did not even ask you, so why are you so uptight about my simple question and my assumption that there is no law against wearing womens clothes? Again - I just asked this: What is your problem? I really like to know. And I asked the one who posted this, jml2000. still waiting for an answer.

JML, kerridurham is a 13 yr. old girl whose parents taught her that only girls wear dresses or skirts, yet either didn't mention the history of boys wearing dresses here in America or were ignorant of the fact. She probably doesn't know a Tunic is a boy's dress either.

After all, kids at times just speak out what they think without beating around the bush and at times they just point out the obvious. Embarassing it is - learn to handle different opinions folks - that is what is expected of adults.

I agree talk to moms in your own city and area, explain to them boys wore dresses previously here in the U.S. (his.clo) from 1835 to the early 1900s. That a dress doesn't effect a boy becoming gay as that is genetic. And to quit pushing the gender divide amongst boys and girls, right now girls can and do wear boy's clothes - the same options should be available to boys.
