Waiting And Watching

I have had full menieres for2&1/2 years. I have been on medications and had 3 surgeries since Feb.2011. I can say I have more good days than bad ones. I just wait and watch for signs and symptoms. Can't work cause driving 20 miles one way really scares me. I am afraid I could hurt someone. I work in a very busy pharmacy and have experience in the medical field. I have one if not the best doctor in Nashville Tn. While I feel cheated out on a lot of things at least mine didn't hit me till I turned 50. I don't know what tomorrow will bring I will try to hang in there. My family doesn't fully understand but they try.Don't give up its hard. But maybe together we can all make it through it. We can watch and wait together.

I also have had Meniere's for 13 years I was 50 when my symptoms started. In 2006 I had surgery for a shunt. I was much better with only two or three days being so sick. But, in 2012 I have several weeks at a time being down in bed and can not leave the house. today is 63 days. First time I could be on computer. Hopefully, doctors will find some meds that help us with our long struggle with meniere's.
