Spinal Operaton

THANK U BOTH FOR REPLYING IT HELPS SO MUCH KNOWING IM NOT ALONE THATS HOW I FEEL BECAUSE WAT I HAVE WRONG WITH ME IS SO VERY RARE IT MAKES ME FEEL SO ISOLATED AND LONELY AND SAD . IM HAVING A BAD DAY ! ALL THE VERY BEST TO U BOTH .

Hey, I kind of know what you're going through. I was told I'd need surgery for my scoliosis. I had major anxiety for about a month. I'm going with an alternative though so I'm not going to have the surgery, but I do remember what it felt like when I was told I would need it and it was one of the most intense moments in my life. It was bewildering. The thought of going under scares the **** out of me too.

I have to have a microdiscetomy. I have been dealing with sciatic leg pain since April and I can barely walk, it's crippling. I went for epidural shots and they aren't working and last option is surgery. The thought of that mask going over my mouth gives me a heart attack!!! My wife thinks I'm crazy but I can't not think this way....

thanks for ur response . its good to know im not alone. what surgery do u have to have? i have to have a vertabrae removed and a cage inserted and then pinned above and below. i have to have this done as i have fractured my spine due to a very very rare cyst that is in the body of the vertebrae. read ny story ???

I have the same thing freaks me out to no end and I might have to have surgery also.

I read up on it and I feel a little better, it's almost impossible!!! But it doesnt matter with my warped thinking...hope you are ok!
