I Panic

I'm afraid of sex.  There...it's out.  I'm a virgin still, and I'm terrified of having sex with someone.  I mean, I'm attracted to others...but the minute something funny and flirty turns to serious lust, I panic and try to back out of what's happening.  I don't know what's wrong with me.

Hi its ok to be scared. What causes you to panic wgat is the fears that go through your head. Add me if you would like to have someone to chat with sometime.

Thanks for sharing this. I thought I was the only one who felt like this.

Everyone has already said this but, it's okay to be afraid of it. It's scary when you don't know what's going to happen, and when you don't know if you're going to like what happens. Just think about it calmly and one day you may decide you're ready for it. Just take it slowly.

Being afraid is ok. If you have always wanted to wait until you were married to have sex the first time, then do it. don't let anyone talk you out of what you've always wanted. I did. When I was 15, my first boyfriend told me he loved me and that we were gonna get married, so I had sex with him even though i had always wanted to wait until i was married. I regret it so much now, and the man that i am going to marry is having to deal with my problems with sex currently. Do what you feel is right. No one can make you do any different.

fear of the unknown is perfectly normal. read some books. watch some ****. find the gentleist guy you know when you are ready. be careful with contraception and inspect your fellow for any skin eruption in the sexual areas. good luck.

NOTHING is wrong with you. It is alright to be afraid of sex. That feeling you are getting that is making you "panic" is just your heart and your instincts telling you that you aren't ready and this is not the right person. When the time is right, you will know it. Its better to keep your innosence while you still have it, anyway.<br />

Good luck and have a wonderful life!
