Why is it when you express an interest in a guy he thinks your desperate?

why is it that some men tend to think that if you want to get to know them you're desperate?

why is it when a girl asks a guy out he also thinks she's desperate?

Just because I ask a guy questions does not mean I want him to be my boyfriend.

I am not desperate just because I want to get to know you. :)

 

I mean I have friends and I there are other fish in the sea, but I want to get to know that specific one, why do they have a problem with that?

    I don't know. Humans crave love SO BAD!! But, they are AFRAID when it is given to them. They don't want to mess it up, reveal too much about themselves, etc. The best you can do is be yourself and tell the guys that love is whatever. It's an acessary NOT a necessity. That takes the pressure off them, so they can be themselves and not think that girls expect something out of them. But, if they liked you back, they would do anything for you. It's a stupid game that takes time getting used to. Nothing's overnight.
