Why God Made Me Black

This poem was inspired by Genesis 1:26 and 27

Lord, Lord, Why did you make me black? Why did you make me someone the world wants to hold back?  Black is the colour of dirty clothes; the colour of grimy hands and feet.   Black is the colour of darkness; the colour of tire beaten streets.   Why did you give me thick lips, a broad nose and kinky hair?   Why did you make me someone who receives the hatred stare?   Black is the colour of a bruised eye when somebody gets hurt   Black is the colour of darkness.   Black is the colour of dirt.   How come my bone structure's so thick; my hips and cheeks are high?   How come my eyes are brown and not the colour of the daylight sky?   Why do people think I'm useless? How come I feel so used?   Why do some people see my skin and think I should be abused?   Lord, I just don't understand, What is it about my skin?   Why do some people want to hate me and not know the person within? Black is what people are "listed" when others want to keep them away.   Black is the color of shadows cast Black is the end of the day   Lord, You know, my own people mistreat me and I know this just isn't right. They don't like my hair or the way I look. They say I'm too dark or too light.   Lord, Don't You think it's time for you to make a change?   GOD Answered:   Why did I make you Black? Why did I make you Black?   Get off your knees and look around, Tell me, what do you see?   I didn't make you in the image of darkness, I made you in the likeness of ME!   I made you the colour of coal from which beautiful diamonds are formed.   I made you the colour of oil, the black gold that keeps people warm.   I made you from the rich, dark earth that can grow the food you need.   Your colour’s the same as the panther's known for (her) beauty and speed.   Your colour’s the same as the black stallion, a majestic animal is he.   I didn't make you in the image of darkness; I made you in the image of ME!   All the colours of a heavenly rainbow can be found throughout every nation; but when all those colours were blended well;

YOU BECAME MY GREATEST CREATION!   Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool such a humble little creature is he.   I am the Shepherd who watches them. I am the one who watches over thee.   You are the colour of the midnight sky; I put the stars' glitter in your eyes.   There's a smile hidden behind your pain; that's the reason your cheeks are high.   You are the colour of dark clouds formed when I send my strongest weather.   I made your lips full so when you kiss the one you love , they will remember.   Your stature is strong; your bone structure is thick to withstand the burdens of time.   That reflection you see in the mirror...the image that looks back is MINE!

What a stupid self-hating article. Not all thick and broad noses are ugly, Whitney Houston has a board nose and she's pretty. Her nose is as cute as a button. Whitney Houston also does haven't thick lips, her lips are a perfect size.

Tupac Shakur has think lips and a broad nose, but he's one of the most handsomest man I've ever seen, he looks noticeable better than Brad Pitt, etc.

Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr., aka B.O.B rapper has a broad nose and thick lips and he's own of the handsomest men I've seen just like Tupac Shakur.

Jennifer Hudson has a broad nose, and thick lips and she's pretty than Madonna.

Angela Basset has a broad nose and thick lips and she's very pretty.

Diana Ross has a broad nose and thick lips and she's beautiful.

There's so many beautiful black people in this world, but too many of you are deeply conditioned by the white controlled media on television who purposely advertise whites as better than blacks.

They purposely try to find the less looking appealing black they can find, then place next to a okay looking white, or nice looking white to try and hallucinate the public minds that whites are better than blacks, but it's not true. It's all falsehood made to be believed as a reality, but in all reality it's falsehood.

I've seen some very ugly looking whites, but of course white supremacy try to keep them off of public television as much as possible to make their race seem as beautiful and better than blacks, but their are some very stunning, beautiful blacks I've seen in person and on television, such as the view mentioned above. But usually whites try to keep the good looking blacks away from public television, such as movie, shows, etc., and use the less appealing blacks to make whites look good, I've know this for the longest about racist sick whites.

And yes blacks have kinky hair, but it's nice if they take good care of it, and allow it to grow out instead of always messing with it with perms, etc. I Think afros are unique, soft, and cute, and if you put a pony tail in it for the girls, it's really cute. If blacks let there hair grow out I think it's cute, soft and healthy.

And whites hair is not so nice, they have hair just like animals fur. Animals have straight hair too. A dog, cat, rat, horse, cow, and the list goes on. Sheep are the only ones with curly hair like blacks, Jesus favorite humble animal.

And though some people say whites have nice hair, the blacks have nice skin. Blacks skin can be black, brown or yellow, and their skin is so beautiful like the beautiful black sky that sits above everything in the entire world, even above the stars. And the brown skin is like brown sand and dirt from which God created man our of dirt, dirt is brown. Brown skin is like the tree trunks, like coffee beans, like delicious chocolate, etc. And yellow skin is like beautiful gold, and the beautiful sunset.

Whites have complaints too. They may say, why is my skin so pink and fleshly like raw meat at your local grocery store? Why is my skin pink like the color of a tongue in someone's mouth? Why are my lips so thin that I use plumping serums to make them thicker and larger? Why is my nose to pointy, long and big like a witch's nose, or like Pinocchio?

Whites have many complaints too. Everyone has dislikes about themselves in every race, it's just that blacks are exaggerated by whites on white supremacy advertising.

I think there's beauty in every race. And no matter how unique and different we are, we're all beautiful. All the dislikes people have about themselves are exaggerated. I don't think there's no such thing as ugly, only unique. And there's unique and beauty in every race in all truth and reality. TBOJ.

And yes blacks have kinky hair, but it's nice if they take good care of it, and allow it to grow out instead of always messing with it, with perms, etc. Whites caused blacks too not like their hair through television not approving blacks afros, etc . But black's hair is also nice. I Think afros are unique, soft, and cute, and if you put a pony tail in it for the girls, it's really cute. And though other races who are non-black have some color, they too have that translucent look, like their insides are glowing outwardly, which gives them the pink fleshy look of raw flesh, except for blacks and Indians.

Whites have many complaints too, it's not just blacks. Everyone has dislikes about themselves in every race, it's just that blacks are exaggerated by whites on white supremacy advertising to cause some blacks to have these ills.

SEÑOR PORQUE ME HICISTE NEGRO

Señor, Señor
¿Porqué me hiciste Negro?

I hope Im not commiting any unlawful did. Im just trying to help and understand this beautiful poem.

Hi this beautiful composition have always brought tears to my eyes. Im the white hispanic mother of two black boys. And Im proud of them, even though somebody from my family insulted me saying that it was a disgrace to be pregnant with a negro. I dont care! If I was born again, I get pregnant with those negroes I adore with my life.
A humble sugestion the translation to Spanish is very bad and uncomprehensive, I translated to Spanish, since thanks God I speak a fair Engish.

Thanks again.

Amazing
