Ignored Because Of Features?

Hi, I am a 17yr. old black female. Everyday for the past 6 yr.s I have always wondered why black guys don't look at me unless I look like a trashy person, or if I'm a medium sized light skin lady. However I am none of these. In fact, I am dark brown with a athletic build. (soccer) I know that there are guys out there who will accept me for who/what I am. (best friend Junebug). I just don't understand why it's taking so long...

    Don't pay attention to those ignorant people that don't notice anyone unless they "trashy". There are plenty of guys out there that are educated and socialized beyond their city block. If you go to college or do any traveling to other countries you'll discover there are waaay more intelligent people out there looking for real beauty like you, not just some rap video ho with over done fat injections. Life is too short to waste it on ppl like them, live ya life on your terms, not theirs. Besides, athletic build is very sexy!

    I'm just thinking 6 years ago you were 11, and I hope grown men wouldn't look at you in a sexual way. And besides a real relationship doesn't always escalade from men gauking at you. Go to college and you'l have lots of guys to choose from.

    When guys are young they are attracted to "loose or trashy" girls because they can get the "one" thing they want from them. however, as you get older and surround yourself with more mature guys you will see they are looking for a beautifully put together girl that respects herself.
