No Connection!I'm not religious. I don't really believe in God and I think people who live by impossible stories from a book that was written before we even knew about how the human body worked are sort of silly. My immediate family aren't religious either. I was raised Agnostic. We celebrate Christian holidays, but we don't go to church, pray, talk about god and we all believe in evolution. Except for my little brother. He is ten and worries about death and the afterlife all the time, which bothers us because he is so young! We don't speak about our beliefs with him. I think religion will give him strength, so we won't push him in any direction.
Anyways, my parents never told me that God didn't exist. I came to that conclusion on my own! I went to church with my grandparents for a few months and found I had absolutely no connection to God! I didn't feel like he was listening, or like he even existed. The whole idea of this immensely powerful being that created everything didn't make sense to me anyways, so I kinda gave up and decided I was Agnostic. All at eleven. :)
