I Am Simply Seeking Proof

That's the bottom line for me. While I could repeat much of what's been said here, and agree with it totally, for me it's simply a lack of proof that makes me Agnostic. I do not believe in 'a god'. The truth is there is no proof one way or the other. Science and reasonable thinking have gone a long way to disprove any such god exists. Yet nobody can say for certain. There are still big questions that need answered before that could happen. Like how did we begin? The Big Bang, Devine intervention, Magic? Science can prove that the Big Bang happened, but rational thinking should have you wondering about where the 'components' for the Big Bang came from in the first place. It just didn't appear one day, with all of the mass in the Universe already inside, did it?

In short, I would like to believe that there is something more out there, there is just no solid proof it exists. We don't know everything and until we do, it's impossible to say for certain, what, if anything, exists beyond the vale of our mortality.

Just my two cents.

was agnostic for roughly two years until I found Judaism. Research all the religions you want beyond the surface and I guarantee you will find something.
