The Consequences Of Science

I would like to believe I'm a rational and scientific mind. Because of that, I know that anything is technically possible, but until it is proven with irrefutable evidence I won't believe it simply out of faith. I am open to the idea of a God, but not necessarily the Christian view of a God, or any one view for that matter. Would a truly divine being not be beyond our own comprehension anyway?

Also, I don't really believe in religion. While it may have good morals to live by (the Ten Commandments are the best example), living your life by a restricting set of rules seems a rather backward concept in my eyes. I feel it's more important to live well than to live by some arbitrary definition of what's "proper".
