I Am Alone On Valentine's Day

Why celebrate Valentines day? Do Jews celebrate the holocaust? Does America celebrate 9/11? Im always alone on valentines day. Married couples, engaged couples, dating couples. They all have each other. Who do I have?? Just a whole in my heart. I know its a very grim outlook, but Ive had a horrific love life. And, in the past 21 years, never had valentine.

    I had the same for years and years. Eventually love turned up and the hole is slowly healing. But yeah, I felt exactly the same. I hated valentines day (still do from my painful memories) and I felt that it was rubbed in my face: look at all the happy couples, forget the lonely losers - they aren't worth anything. I hated it and as I say, I still feel that even though I am now with someone.
