Mental Wanderings

As I was watching the sun set, the scene made me think. I think about how small I am compared to the universe. How I am a mirage just going through life not doing a thing. I just sat there and watched, and I wondered what is my small part in this giant vastness or if I have any part. My part might be a major one, or I have no part at all. The only way to know is to get up and move forward, to never stop, to light the bonfire of my heart and never let it be extinguished. If I have no part to play or place to go, I will make myself a place. I will go on and never stop. The sky beckons for this wandering of my mind as I stare at it.

Wow! Now that's "great writing"! so full of passion!

Thank you.

Nice write.

I thank you for the compliment.

Looking at the sky makes me feel small as well, in the incredibly vast universe. To Time, I am a fraction of a blink. To space I am a nothing. It gives me courage because no matter what I do, it will be okay in the grand scheme of things. Existence is so overwhelmingly vast it is incredible.
