I Am An Accounting Student

I Have Seen Heap Of.....

.......groups that are people with a goal to have their accounting qualifications but no group for everyone who is simply studying. So now we have it.

Me? I am currently finishing off a diploma (finish next month). I then plan to go on to the advance diploma which gives me a years credit for when I start my bachelor of commerce. In 3 years time I will have 4 qualification and be making my way into the wide world of accounting.

I also plan to join the two professional organisations that allow student members at the end of this year. I think that it is important to use the professional organisation so you are up-to-date on the ever changing laws and standards.

    You've probably passed this point by now, by looking at the date on the post, but try to get an internship at a CPA firm. It will not only give you practical experience, but if you do a good job, it is something great to put on a resume. If you do a really good job, they'll probably hire you after graduation!

    i'm a 3ed year accounting student and actually i'm fed up with textbooks , i need a practical work so that i can feel that i'm really an accountant ..

    tell me guys how could i practice in accounting ?

    are there sites that provide kinda things ?

    I'm in high school taking Accounting 2, hope that counts (accounts ahahaha..........sad i know) I've been seriously considering studying Accounting in College and seeing where it goes from there. But non-the less its still a little early to be planning
