First Air Force Experience!

Hi to everyone that reads this!!

I just married Jared, who is in the Air Force. He is a MTI (Military Training Instructor AKA: Drill Seargant)... We are living in San Antonio, TX and he is stationed at Lackland AFB!

When I first moved here I didn't think I would have such a problem with his hours. But turns out that I'm kind of having a rough time.. He works very long days and when he does get home, he's tired! Sometimes I feel like I'm being selfish but it is hard on me!

So... I'm hoping this site will help me find some friends. Maybe someone in a situation like mine. I will be starting work on Lackland at the Starbucks so that should help with occupying my time but I am looking for some other friends so that when I'm not at work I have other things to do!

Thanks to everyone that reads this and I really hope for some responses! :)

Wow, congrats to you that your hubby is an MTI. My husband said to me that those are one of the hardest jobs in the military because they are gone so much. Living there though knowing your near him HAS to help. Did you 2 date while he was in BMT and Tech School? I would LOVE to be near my husband right now but he's in Tech School at Sheppard AFB.<br />
Your husband is sure to be well respected and I would be proud of him. I'm sure it's just as hard on him as it is you. Who wants to walk around screaming all the time? LOL...just try your best to support him. I know that's the best thing a wife can do when a husband is trying to support his family no matter what the job is.
