@ SexyCAgirl45 - You have done great ! Surrender to WIN.Go to AA , and KEEP COMING BACK ! Don't stop meetings, get guidance there, about how to repair your health n withdrawal issues.

@Nate88 - Please, please go to a meeting of AA and understand the enormity of your problem.Common sense is no good. You need the help of other similarly placed people who have stopped.

Please feel free to email me,chat or share your scene. You can read my stories, too.

    God bless us all.

Love n Hugs to both of you

I just found this website and figured after the crazy out of control drunk past 3 days, hours ago I think might try to quit..All the money i could save, be healthier, so many positive things to stop.My father was so bad in Florida he was drinking mouth wash, now he hasn't had a drink in years. My brother i hope just got his wake up call and when he gets back out he can do better.I guess it's in my genes please help with any ideas???I'm leaving soon just to get away; even though problems can fallow, also a saying that you become who you hang out with, and I think i got a some good ones just not with me...

Good for you sexycagirl45. Hope those good feelings stay with you. Keep with the meetings and keep your phone numbers close at hand. And if you feel like reaching for something, reach for your Big Book. I've worn out three of them over the last 11 years. Remember the sayings - you know: A day At A Time; Your worst day sober is better than your best day drunk, etc. They are all soooo true.

I am doing great and don't need detox. I don't know if it's because I prayed so hard last night or not, but I have no withdrawl symptoms today. Back to my AA Woman's group tonight at 6. I feel great.

This probably won't be good advice, but I thought I'd mention it anyways.. Well, whenever my organs start aching, which tells me that the heavy drinking is really starting to do some permanent damage, I smoke weed for a while instead of drinking. Makes it easy to go to sleep, and turns the brain from negative thoughts.

I am actually feeling a little better now. I haven't had a drink in 9 hours. I've been drinking a lot of water today. I am going to go to AA at 6pm tonight.
