Fort Sill

I have been here a week now, and I have to say that it's nice to go home with my husband every night. I went to work with him one day that was interesting to say the least. Today was kinda nice got to be around the soldiers with their families...I was not happy when he first told me I was going to work with him again...I really wanted to get things done. I didnt really talk with the other wives though...still settling in some, but I am happy to say I am at leasst meeting people now. I miss home, but that is a given. I dont really know how to approach this life fully yet , but I am getting there...words of wisdom are welcome.!!!

hi there! we live at ft. sill also, and i might add that being in the town doesnt help your experience much. there isnt much to do. i am a new army wife, we just got married in january and lemme tell ya, making friends is not my strong point, because im pretty shy. But it does get better, you will start to meet the wives of your hubby's battle buddies and such, and some are cool and some arent. But in the end you will meet some girls who are definitely there for ya when times get rough. Just be patient, everything will fall into place. Hit me up sometime and lemme know how things are going!!!

Take it one step at a time. And words of wisdom dont rush to make new friends take your time to find that one person that will always have your back no matter what.
