Not Quite Army Wife

Hello. I just wanted to tell everyone about myself and my family. We have a 6 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for almost 4 years. We have been through a lot in our young lives. My husband got laid off in October. He has found work but it doesn't pay the bills. I am going to school to become and Elementary Teacher. My husband has decided that he too, wants to make a difference. We are firm believers that GOD put us on this Earth to do something great. All of us. So, with that, my husband has decided to join the Army. I have mixed feelings as to if this will be the best choice for our family. I will stand by him and his choices, as he does with me. He swears in on Wednesday! So any comments, tips, anything would be great. Thanks so much. :)

We have talked long and hard about a lot of issues. He has been very faithful to me. Hopefully, it stays that way. I know no matter how much I trust him, it's the other people I worry about.

I love being an Army wife! I have grown so patriotic since being married 13 years ago. My divorce will be final in a few months, and it is bittersweet for me. There are so many benefits and you get to travel the country and possibly the world. Just be careful of the single women; they are vultures. As long as you and your hubby are very close there should be no problem. But you have been warned, you must doing everything in your power to keep your man interested even when you don't feel like it. The book, "Created to Be His Helpmeet," by Debi Pearl is awesome... buy it today.
