Life + Irony = Art

So...  I've been giving more thought to doing life figure modeling lately.

Then... IRONICALLY, I stumle across a search result which leads me here!  Hmmmm....  Purely cooincidental?  hahahah!

I've been an artistic performer all my life, mostly with music... but have done some modeling work on occasion.   I've never been uncomfortable with my own body, never had a problem being unclothed in front of other people;..... So I started to put the pieces together.   **I should do life figure modeling sessions!!**

Now the next task is this: Trying to get the proverbial "foot in the door," and getting in contact with the right people to get a session booked.

I whipped up a little web page with photo examples of my poses, and have begun calling & emailing artists, schools, studios...etc.   And with any luck, I'll start filling my calendar.

I'll be doing nude art modeling when I attend a traditiional college or university; we don't have any art modelling classes at my small, squeaky-clean community college!

Autumn is right. Colleges can't hire enough models and they really do want all shapes, sizes, ages, and ethnicities. Last semester I didn't work at it but I have a couple of gigs for this semester. It's fun and the pay is ok.

Almost every college that has an art department is always looking for dependable models of all shapes and sizes. I wish you the best of luck and know you will love the experience.
