    And religious people have no questions they can't answer?

    Yeah, but at least the people who created that group are acknowledging (albeit in a backhanded manner) that atheists actually make an attempt to think about stuff. That's still an improvement from claiming that atheists are atheists because they are angry and bitter and amoral and have never been in foxholes or some twisted reason like that.

    It might not be a good trait in their eyes any more than having strong faith is a good trait from our perspective. But I do find it a pleasant acknowledgement. Just like a strong theist might like it if we said, even in a snide and insulting way, that his/her faith was very strong.

    By the way, have you noticed how religious people like to portray themselves as victims? Always makes me laugh, considering the sort of persecution that so many atheists have to go through.

    Whenever they try playing victims and claim to be "bravely standing up for their beliefs", I'm tempted to direct them to an EP friend who had the courage to tell her conservative Muslim family that she did not believe in God. This was at the risk of emotional abuse, physical abuse and being thrown out of the house with no money and no job. The above three things were what happened to her brother when he made a similar pronouncement. She witnessed it happening right in front of her, and still had the bravery to stand up for her beliefs. And she is not even the only one, just one brave person out of countless others who go through such situations or sometimes even worse. All at the behest of a certain imaginary friend that people around them believe to be real.

    @FourierTransform:

    To see how little of a compliment it actually is to be considered intellectual by theists all you have to do is visit the group "I Think Self-superior Atheists Are Annoying" (I bet you can already tell this is going to be painful... I mean, Self-superior?! FFS!)

    Anyhow, go and take a look at what intellectualism/intelligent means to many people of a strong faith. It's a negative trait that gets in the way of 'faith'. It is perceived as a flaw to be mocked. They just switch that concept out with the term arrogant at will and for the most part they seem to have it totally confused with the concept of pseudo-intellectualism when they aren't using it in place of arrogance. You could be Stephen Hawking for all they care. They hold knowledge as inferior to their intuition and feelings so it just doesn't matter.

    And it's not just select theists that dwell creating a sub-culture of anti-intellectualism. Oh, how I wish it were... Sometimes Idiocracy doesn't seem as far fetched a fantasy movie as it once did to me.

    The only interesting thing in his video is that we atheists are perceived as "intellectual". That's a good thing, because I was kind of getting sick of being called sad, lonely, angry, bitter yadda yadda.

    It would be interesting to know what are the "ten most common mistakes atheists make and questions atheists can't definitely answer," though."

    I am almost certain they are questions regarding love, how complex our world is, and gaps in science.

    Well, at least it was a nice marketing speech. Kind of. I guess.

    What do you expect from the sidekick of 'Mr. Banana Hands' Ray Comfort: Intelligence and Integrity? Bwahahahaha! Seriously though, that pair is behind hope.
