I Am An Atheist
Hello fellow atheists, I'm Cassie and I'm a young atheist living in Texas where ignorance is the norm along with cowboy boots (even if you don't work on a ranch) and overalls with no shirts underneath. Dont get me wrong, I couldn't give a rats *** how people dress, its none of my business, but the ignorance is unbearable. I respect other people's religions but it comes to my attention that most of the time Christians don't know what they're talking about and if they actually do they're insane for believing in that book full of hate and discrimination. I was raised a southern Baptist, where you're bent over an authority figures knee and spanked if you question God's precious plan. Where you're force to go to church and sing those creepy songs about gods wrath. Where you're told you're going to hell because you got a tickling feeling in your privates because you like the Sunday school teacher who just happens to be female too. Do you know how twisted it is for a nine year old to think she's going to burn in a fire inferno for having a mind of her own? And how can Christians follow God's plan when they don't even know what it is? What if his plan is to shove them up a chickens *** and fry them extra crispy for dinner? The twang of the preachers condemning, self-righteous, voice still haunts me. Once I started thinking for myself and realized it was all just twisted thoughts from the age of ignorance I became an atheist and I regret nothing.
