One Step Closer...

I am so excited! *overjoyed* The short story that I wrote for a Kid's Lit class is a finalist in the contest and will be read in my college Tuesday for kids ages 5-13 to judge!

The winner gets to be published in the college's literary magazine... one of the more recognized in the country. *bubbling* Also first place winner gets an ipod nano. I want to win... either way I am one step closer to getting my books published! *glowing*

Didn't win... looking for a magazine that will publish it. At the reading a few adults asked me where they could get a copy because they liked the empowering message that it has! *smiling*
