We went to Memphis during Elvis week. It commemorates the day of his untimely demise. There are people from all over the world, brought together by a love of Elvis. There is 24 hour karaoke. All kinds of Elvis impersonators. Everyone so friendly. So much fun. Put it on your bucket list. Stay at the Heartbreak Hotel in Lonely Street. This year I bought a blue Christmas tree, all the decorations are either blue or Elvis. It's amazing how popular he still is after all these years. It's also reassuring to know that I'm not the only person who thinks Elvis is still the King. It will be a Blue Christmas.

    This has been on my bucket list for a long time...i'm sure graceland was unbelievable..how many rooms can you walk through?

      you can go thru the entire downstairs, Living room, kitchen, jungle room. No one allowed upstairs. You can tour the garage and see all his cars, the planes and of course the outdoor grounds where he is buried.
