I reside in Southern California and so I have access to a lot esoteric information by virtue of my locale and until very recently I had never heard of incarnated angels, not until I went on a blind date, LOL!
I met a nice man over coffee who is also very spiritual. During our chat in getting to know one another he asked me straight to my face, "Who are you?" He said, "It's a hard question so take your time and then share that with me." I stumbled around in my mind, trying to find the right words that I felt would best describe me and who I think I am.
So, I came up with the definition that, "I am a lightworker and healer." He replied in a very gentle manner, "No, not what you do, but 'WHO' you are." Perplexed and stumped as to that inquiry I said that I would have to think it over and get back to him. He asked me if it ever occurred to me that I was an Angel who was sent here to do God's/Spirit's work helping humans with the ascension. I said that I thought of angels as people like Jesus and the archangels so how could I possibly entertain the idea that I walked the same divine path as such great spirits as them. He assured me that "Once you say it, and then you own it, you are it." His parting words to me were, "Just know that you are one." It left me speechless...what was this first meeting all about anyway?
Okay, that's a very interesting and unexpected first meeting for a blind date, I don't care who you are! As I drove back home I mulled the whole 'angel' idea over (I am very analytical by nature). How could that be, that I could be an angel??? I know I'm a healer and a lightworker, but an angel? WOW!
I went straight to the local bookstore and bought Doreen Virtue's books on Angels. Oh boy, I answered yes to just about every question under the "Incarnated Angels" category. Yep, there was confirmation right there in writing. But my mind needed more proof.
Spirit guided me to Celia Fenn's website and she has a link to a local woman, Sheila Moore, in San Diego, CA. Sheila has a business called Aura Explorations (www.auraexplorations.com) and she has taken auric field pictures of human incarnated angels! Take a look at Sheila's website, you'll have no trouble discerning the auric fields of the angels.
I made an appointment with Sheila and had my aura photographed. I also went under hypnosis to meet my soul group and guides. We also did a clearing of my chakras and cutting of cords. Cool experience is all I can say! Although my aura was not white, Sheila told me that she is convinced that I am an incarnated angel and as I work through my stuff that needs clearing my aura will turn to white too. She showed my chakras, and impressed upon me that my solar plexus chakra shows that I am definitely here on a "mission" that is guided by Spirit.
I am a certified Life Coach, a Grief Counselor, a Bereavement facilitator, and I used to be a pediatric hospice volunteer. It all makes sense to me now and I OWN MY INCARNATED ANGEL-NESS!!!!
I have always been there for the underdog. I have always felt that I did not belong to my human family, that I was from another place, and I yearned for knowledge as to where I did fit in, in this great big Universe. It has never occurred to me not to help another soul that was in need, no matter the need. Crisis finds me and I have been blessed with the ability to share unconditional love and a non-judgemental personality that allows those that are suffering to accept my helping hands, be it family, friends, lovers, or complete strangers.
I look forward to furthering my knowledge and I am so happy that I have been enlightened as to my "true nature".
The blind date...well, let's just say that I think his sole (soul) purpose in my life was to remind me of who I really am. *smile!*

I found out about IAs quite by accident too, but not in the same way as you. It is wonderful to hear from another because I have not been able to find another IA to talk to. It is such an elightening experience to know someone understands and has experienced similar things to you.

Wow. To do all that...
I remember when my mom was dying of C, they had bereavement counselors and what-not in the hospital, ready to help us and all I could think of was "How on EARTH does someone do that for a living?? Deal with all that sickness and death constantly"??"
I still have no answer for that. But this has made me think.
I'm not religious, but there MUST be angels in this world if they can do that and stay sane and kind and as sweet and gentle as these people were for us....

Thank you Celainn, I know of no other way to live my life except in service to others. It's NOT always easy, and yes it does take inner strength, but I receive ten-fold of what I give to others in need. IAs do suffer...our lives are not "smooth sailing" - we have to deal with many levels of ourselves which are in direct conflict/polarity from one another. And... being a Libra who requires balance, this does get challenging for me sometimes, LOL!

Its great to see something from another IA here. ^-^ You're story is wonderful - he was obviously meant to help you realise who you really are and I think it is great that you found each other for that brief time. Strange the way the world works...
I'm an IA myself, but I didn't have the fortune of meeting anyone who could help me work it out until after I had already gotten there. She did help allay some doubts though, coming out with it out of the blue when I had never ever mentioned the issue with her.
I've been looking for other IA's around the web; hoping to hear from others and listen to their stories and thoughts, as its a little lonely all the way out here in Oz. Its nice to see someone here. ^-^
