I enjoy being an introvert, despite all the socializing expectations that are made of me now that I have children. People seem to think I'm shy, when I'm just really just quiet. Many extroverts don't seem to be able to fathom the idea that one can be content in one's company, or with just very few other friends.

However, those are just minor annoyances. I enjoy the simpler things in life, and I think through my decisions, while out on a walk or meditating. I rarely feel any of the rush I see people struggling with, or issues stemming from instant gratification, because I made a conscious decision to live life on my terms, as an introvert.
