I Am Anaemic

My iron levels are ridiculously low and I'm on ferrous sulphate to keep my levels normal. If I don't take the tablet everyday, I barely have the strength to walk around the house. It terrible. Speaking of which, it's tablet time.

    Never be scared of going to the doctor if you know or suspect something is not right, and in your case it is not right. If you don't get any satisfaction, then ask for a second opinion. Please go, and don't be scared.

    There must be a reason for this. Please ask for it to be investigated further. There are many reasons for anaemia, some serious and some not so serious. You may be bleeding from somewhere internally, so you need this investigated. You may not be absorbing your red blood cells, for some reason, you may have Coeliac Disease, liver disease. I could go on, but you MUST ask for futher investigations. SRN RSCN.
