You Are Broken! D:

Well after reading a few of the stories here I decided to share a memorable encounter with a person a few years back when I was in 10th grade. By my sophomore year in high school I already knew I was asexual so I decide to tell a few of my close friends; while I was telling them a girl (who I did NOT talk to) suddenly approach me and proceeded to telling me how I was "broken" and that being asexual went against nature. Of course I was offended and told her to leave me alone, she continue to rant about how my existence as a human was worthless since I wouldn't be reproducing or had no interest in such things. Up to this day I have always wonder why asexualism is so widely misunderstood and look down upon. Moral of the story: don't ever let anyone put you down as long as you are happy with who you are that's all that matters. ^_^ as for the girl who verbally attack me I told her to **** off, although she would always give me weird looks.

Most people just don't understand. Because sex is shoved down our throats constantly, if you don't express an interest in it, you're considered 'weird'. Fine by me XP
