@ tempeststarr: you say "This is not happening in Australia, South Africa, America or anywhere else." You sound very sure of that.

Can you give me a 100% gaurentee that this kind of thing doesn't happen in Australia, South Africa, America or anywhere else? No, no you cant. Just because there is an email going around about it, it doesn't make it a hoax.

Whether this email is a hoax or not, I can tell you that this kind of thing does happen.

I am going to incriminate myself here but who gives a flying ****, none of you know who I really am.

When I was a horrible teen, I used to do this kind of thing with pizza delivery boys. I am certainly not proud of it, but I did it. My friends and I would call a pizza delivery, tell them that we only have a $50-$100 note and that they will need to bring some extra change. Then we will get them to deliver the pizza at a neighbours house who was never home (we suspect that someone was growing prohibited plants there) hide in the bushes and jump the poor pizza boy, taking his money and the pizza. I wasn't the only teenager who did that by the way, I know of a few people who did it. Sh** like this happens quite a lot.

If a couple of bratty 14 year old girls are capable of doing something like that, then wouldn't you think that a gang of big scary dudes with weapons are capable of doing much worse? If a couple of 14 year old girls are scummy enough to set up a pizza boy and steal from him, dont you think that a gang of messed up drug addicted dudes would be even scummier, and set up some poor woman?

This is not happening in Australia, South Africa, America or anywhere else.

99% of these "OMG FEAR FOR YOUR LIVES" emails are hoaxes.

Check out what snopes has to say about the whole thing:

i am an emergency monitor for the channels 9 am CB AND Channels 5 and 35 on uhf cb, we report to the emergency authorities after taking calls, also 112 has been registered on mobile networks as a secondary tripple o . there are limited resources out there but i want to see these emergency channels stay active even after the new 60 channel uhf come into force and beyond, we ask you not to use the channels for anything other then dangerous situations, minor road safety concerns would be best broardcast on channel 8 and 18 of the AM CB radio and the Ch 40 UHF.

Well what a turn up, I posted it in Australia because of the phone number 0-0-0.

It's a cruel world we are living in I'm afraid.

This is happening in South Africa too. Unless the email is a hoax, I received the identical one. But here in SA I tend to believe it based on past experience, so.... Very sad. X@
