Victoria Bush Fires

Hi there,

Im a Kiwi girl who just wanted to offer my sympathy to those of you who have been affected by the bushfires in Victoria. I spent 10days in the Ranges above Melbourne for a school exchange in 1997 and have fond memories of the people and the area. This tragedy has touched me deeply. I hope you and your loved ones are safe.

I have formed a group 'I am crying for the victims of the Victoria bushfires' if any of you have stories to share or need support please dont hesitate to join.

Much love, Aurora xxx

I could not agree more mamma.

I am horrified by the coverage I have seen so far.
My heart goes out especially to those who have lost their loved ones.

It is devastating to think this was caused deliberately. I feel sick.

And I fervently hope those responsible are prepared for what is owing them....

Thanks Ladies, for your comments.
I have donated already through the links on the NZ Herald website- but thanks for the info chairman.
Im not the praying type enna but am sending my well wishes and thoughts of support across the Tasman.
I hope the healing can begin soon.

From an Aussie to a Kiwi - thanks so much. I'm not a Victorian either but our worst ever national disaster is devastating to all of us. My heart goes out to all those affected by the fires in any way. It is a tragedy of an apocalyptic size.

Please pray for all those affected.

While not from Vic myself, I think I can speak for all victorians when I say Ta, Aurora. It's much appreciated. You can make donations to the appeal online at
