Outside of Comfort Zone

When i was in the supermarket the other day i was thinking to myself why do i feel anxious and paranoid here, whereas when im at home i feel so comfortable and confident.  I came to the conclusion that im outside of my comfort zone.

So as a test i imagined my comfort zone as a circle around my house and then imagined it enlarging to encampass the town i lived in.  Then looked from the perspective.. if others can feel comfortable in any part of the world than i can at least feel comfortable in my home town.  This made me feel more confident and less bothered about people around me.

I will try that.. Any tips on how to reduce fear of talking to strange people..?

So it worked? I'll try too in that case :)<br />
I feel anxious in the supermarket too. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's the checkout people.

This sounds like a grand idea, I will try it!
