oday I'm besides myself. My whole life I tried to help those that needed help and I always got to the point where I had someone on the brink of happiness. Sometimes I'd sacrifice my own happiness in hopes that I could turn someones life around that needed it or wanted it. I look back today and I smile, no doubt. When I look back, I know it was the happiest day of my life. I accomplished something not many can do and I look back thinking that it will probably never happen again. So many emotions ran in my head but the overall outcome was worth the wait, time and effort. I had a blast. It was my greatest accomplishment and I thought I made someone really happy that day. Today was the beginning of your new life. It was your Independance day, remember?
Today I look back and I'm sad. I'm beyond words and baffled one year later and wished things were different. I thought I did the right thing, made someones dreams come true, but I didn't. Wait, I can take that back..I know I was the happiest person on the planet. I know I made the difference and I made someone smile that was in need of it. I was the hero for the day, and that was the only day I ever truly will admit that I was.
I will stay silent for most of the day. I don't feel like writing stories today. I'm sick and I can hardly breathe today without the aid of nose spray and NyQuil. I will try to distract myself today and close my eyes and remember a year ago and enjoy he moment alone. I will try to keep things light today and not brood about thinking of what could have been. many of you that will read this won't know what I'm talking about, but a close few will, and I will apologize now for not finishing what I started. I know I let most of you down, but today marks the day I tried to change the stars in the sky and I did for a couple of days. I will not shed tears today. I've shed enough. I'm not angry, just sorry I wasn't enough to provide that of which I promised and said I'd do. I owe you all a deep and heartfelt apology for it. I tried and did my best. I have nothing more to say on this. I hope you all understand. Today is not my birthday, but it was a rebirth for me. So I will stitch my mouth up like I have for a while and look back and smile..I hope you all have a good day today and I'll be around.
Sorry for those that have not a clue what I'm talking about. And for those that do, today was my special day.

Although I don't know this particular incident, I do know that we as Human Beings will always make mistakes. The most obvious thing to say would be "Learn from your mistakes" but I'm positive you've been told this time and time again, so here's my quote instead. "Look to the future, for it is your only Guidance when you're down" I have no doubt in my mind that even without having met you, You're an above decent person. Cheer up and don't let this keep you down for long. As you said this day is a Rebirth for you. Then like the Phoenix, let the Glorious flames of your past engulf you. +3 nods |
