Biliingual

English was my first language. I am in college studying to be a sign language interpreter. I don't technically "speak" two languages, but I am bilingual. I love sign language. It is such an expressive beautiful language that is greatly misunderstood by the average hearing person. I teach my kids sign language and use it with them frequently. I recently had three hearing teenagers making noises at my back thinking I was deaf. It really pissed me off! I just looked at them and said "I'm not deaf dumb *****!"
