Up And Down

That's how it is for me everyday my mood changes, sometimes I will the happiest person in the world, and then the next thing you know I'm sad. It gets to the point of driving me completely nuts but I am taking medication for it, medication does help out a little bit but other times not so much. I'm in much better control of my bipolar then before.

I am so happy to hear that you do feel you are in better control of your emotions...that is always a relieving feeling...i wish you the best of luck!!!! keep up the work of finding what helps you find a consistent balance..uz got this=)

I know your situation all too well. Im taking Lamictal to manage it and its helping alot. I hate having to take the med but I know if I went off of it, I'd be a nightmare to live with again. The ups and downs are very frustrating. I went through several meds but lamictal finally became my lifesaver. takes awhile to build in your system, but when it does, aaahhhh calmness. But good luck on finding your right med or any other thing that might help. I also found accupuncture to be very helpful. Have you tried that?

I think it will get better over time. I remember having a lot of highs but then after being stabilized after several different medication trys they seemed to fade away. Good luck to you. Barb
