Not Confused

I've read it here and experienced it first hand...being told that I'm just confused. I may have been at one time, sex is a scary and confusing thing when it first comes into our lives, but at this point I am very sure of what I like and what I dont.

I've dated both men and women. My first love was a girl I went to high school with. We lived together for a while, some of my best memories are with her. To this day I still love her, but our parting was a mutual thing.

I'm engaged to a man now, who I also love. Hes well aware of my tastes. I'm much more attracted to the female body, even the men that I find attractive are much more feminine. But I'm not a lesbian, nor would I ever limit myself like that. I'm with a man now because I choose to be, not because its socially acceptable or the "right" thing. If things had gone in another direction with my first love, I may very well still be with her.

With that said, I do have to vent a little frustration about the "Bi" scene. Girls who play bi just to get attention annoy the hell out of me. That is one of the largest factors (aside from just plain misunderstanding) that leads to the negative thoughts toward the bi-community. I honestly don't care who you love, as long as it is consenting, just don't make a joke of it.
