Black People And Metal

When I go out of the house I turn heads, but I dont think it's cuz they like what they c. I think their eyes r dissaproving and judging. I wear trip clothes and all black 80% of the time cuz it's me, but other people think it's odd.

I get judged a lot too, but hey, that's life. You gotta do you.

It sucks that the majority of people doing the hating is our own. Many don't realize that it was black people that invented rock and roll or that a huge percentage of bands were influenced by our gospel and blues. Oh well, just remember: The ones that stand out in history did not fit in.

Good for you! But I think Metalheads get judged no matter what race they are, just like Punkers do.

hey im white and just want to say to you black people what i say to the white people dont listen to rap music because mtv says it is popular because we all know its dying and poularity waining while metal as it always has is thriving and will last as long as mankind does . and just because you live in a ghetto not saying you do im just making a example , does not mean youu have to listen to rap that stereotyping yourself and to let you know rap is no talent they steal other peoples music and dont play instruments and give you no emotional feeling while metal will tickle all 5 senses , all im saying dont forget jimi hendrix , chuck berry , living colour , bb king , these guys hate rap too well hendrix would if he was alive all im saying black people dont be afraid to listen to real passionate artistic music and as a metalhead i welcome you to the elite music ferternity there is and thats metal welcome and once you enter i assure you you wont look back because there will be no need
