I was born and raised in the Lower Mainland. Although I've travelled to a few places in Europe and Asia, there's no other place in the world I'd rather live than in Vancouver. Where else do you have the natural beauty of the water, mountains, forest and the city within a short drive? Well, I guess there are other places, but this is a story about being Canadian so I can say whatever I want ;) The downside is the traffic, the rainy weather and the cost of living ... but all that is a small price to pay for living in one of the best places in the world. Can you tell I'm a bit egotistical when it comes to my hometown? Well, you can try to correct me if you think I'm wrong, but it'd be pretty futile I think ... but try if you must :P

If it were any other city I would have to argue vehemently with you ... but as Vancouver is my 2nd fav, I'll let it go ... this time! (For the record though: CALGARY!!!)

I've travelled to all my favourite places around the world and Vancouver could be my no.1 if it were a bit warmer. Other than that, it is definitely the top choice!
