I Am Catholic
i was baptized and confirmed in the catholic church at the easter vigil 2007. before that i had no religion, no faith, no belief and no direction. i attended catholic mass for a few years before i finally committed to attending rcia. once i went i knew there was no turning back. i love the catholic church! i love the sacraments! i love confession. i love receiving jesus christ every sunday... and more often if i get up early enough. i love mary! i love saint peter! i love my parish!
i never even knew the bible before and now i have a favorite gospel... luke!
i came back to rcia this year to help and in the next year or two i hope to be a group leader. i assist with adult education on sunday mornings. i will be attending a latin class offered at my parish starting this month. i have found community. i have found fellowship. i have found love. i have found God.
and now i am seeking my vocation.
