I Am Childless By Choice
After vacillating over this for years, I've finally decided that, due to my limited patience and need for more alone time than a child will allow me to have, I am never having children. My freedom means so much more to me than raising up a human being who may or may not be grateful for all of the sacrifices I would have made for him or her over the years. I might end up being the person people might call the "crazy dog lady," but that doesn't bother me. I'd rather take care of two or three dogs than two or three children.
