Perpetually Single

I can't share my experience right now, because I can't even breathe. 39, childless, perpetually single. I tell people I've been trying to have a baby since I graduated from high school. Which is true in that I knew what I wanted, and began looking for that relationship that would eventually lead to children. I've dated hundreds of men. And my life's work has been children, my degree, my career, all of it in an effort to make me a better mom one day. I feel like I'm dying a slow and painful death.
