The Lord, My Saviour Has My Back

I may not be a practicing Catholic but I truly try to live by God's mandates. As hard as I try to do this, I know I'm not perfect and it hurts me that other fellow Christians condemn me for not sharing some of their views. I work everyday to be a better person and I live trying to not harm others and learning how to forgive. It's a constant struggle to survive in a world full of hate and bad vibes. Sometimes we get caught up and forget those values and lessons Jesus taught many years ago, the reason he died for us.

We are all sinners and we shouldn't ostracize others because they are not like us. Not because of their religion, not because they are not Christians, not because they don't have our skin color, our language. The love of Jesus is so much bigger than that it embarasses me that people spread hate for small banal things. Whenever I feel lost and sad I close my eyes and think of the Lord and I thank him for an opportunity to learn a lesson, to be a better person.

I don't personally agree with anyone condemning you for anything, let alone your personal religious beliefs. I don't believe in religion at all, religion is a word that describes all the different views on faith, and to whom and what we serve and believe in, religion in my opinion is a cult. I believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost..not in religion. The problem in this world is as you said, people don't live by the principles that God gave through His Son Jesus. For example Jesus spoke the worst against the scribes and the pharisees, saying that if we cannot exceed that of the scribes and pharisees than we will in no means enter into the kingdom of God. The scribes and pharisees didn't have an issue with tithing, but with the matters of mercy...they were sour puss people that nobody could stand, they were judgemental, and hypocritical..this is how i view the word "religion" because in order to be a part of a religion you need to act how they act and do what they do, which in turn brings me back to your point of why people condemn you for what you believe, or don't believe. If its not in their quote "religious" franchise that they are a member of, then they have no other choice than to scald you for the principles they believe you are lacking, or exceeding in.. I also agree that we are all sinners, in the worst ways. And in no instance shall a person be discrimintated against for their color, race, origin, language, or for any other reason..they were special enough for the Lord to put here, and they definately deserve love, support, and a feeling of welcomness reguardless of who they are. I lift my hands and praise the Lord on a daily basis for the wonderful people God has allowed me to come into contact with in my life, the good, the bad, the bad because of lessons learned, and lessons taught, and the good for the sholder we need to rest on or the support we need in our faith!...Blessings!

  sbtlmdt, I like your opinion regarding religion , i am 100% percent agree with what u have said ..... But, you know i understand their condemnation as love, cz they want me to be among survivor at the judgment day...... I am afraid of one thing , that am not worshiping god as i should be.....

  Hello Alexia, I wish i could help you concerning your worship to God. The fact is you are concerned about something that almost every person that worships God is concerned about and questions. am i serving Him right? am i serving Him the best i can? Will he accept the worship that i have given Him? All of these things cross a persons mind when they trust God.. its our natural human instinct to wonder, and also doubt.. That is one thing that faces me the most is Doubt.. i know God is there, and I Know he exists..but doubt still crosses my mind..

loverboy1941 i don't believe in this , because i guess it is called "Atheism".....

slave of God "Jesus ", is not whom am worshiping , it is God ... so if God hearing me and see me wherever i am , then why should i go through Jesus to ask him and pray to him...

this case doesn't apply in our life then how come it is true...

ex: If we ask things from our manager personally is not the same when we use someone in the middle

  Jesus isn't just a slave of God. . He is the Son of God. He is God Himself. . . Please don't speak of Jesus this way. He died for you as well. . He died so He could be the way to God the Father. the only way. :)

  servantLove : it doesn't fit in my mind, there are a lot of version for bible , and it depend in which one we believe in . When i think about it , i couldn't have the answer , why Jesus is son of god , what is the benefit behind it , he never create any thing in this world that proof that Jesus is a god ... he must be a slave and prophet of God , so why am worshiping him , he can't do anything, until God gave him the ability and he is the only one who can take what he gave... I respect Jesus alot , but i can't give him more than that .... my prayers are all for God , the creator of this world

  Alexia, I cannot consider yourself an Athiest, actually an athiest is one who does not believe that God exists.. and you do believe in him!..thank God! Im unsure of your beliefs, i would be happy to talk with you about Jesus, and show you where Jesus is actually mentioned from the very beginning of the bible...and again i dont even know if you read a bible, if not it could be rather difficult to show you...I would be interested in knowing a little more about your beliefs.. Are you asking Jesus or the Creator of Jesus "Your God , and My God" ??

I am not religious .. but i believe our thanks and prayers should go to the right One... Jesus dont have the power to save us , But GOD of Jesus and all of us has all the power and ability to save us ....
