Straying Christian

I'm a Christian, but at the moment i'm not in a relationship with God. I really want to be, but after all this rejection I feel like even God doesn't want me. When I was closer with God I found so much peace in my heart. Literally the peace where you want to hug everyone around. But I started straying again, and once again i'm depressed. I say everyday, "oh tomorrow I will start talking with God again" but I don't. I really need God in my life again. He is the only one who can help me. I have absolutely nobody else to talk to. No friends at all. I sometimes even questioned the existence of God, but in my heart I know He exists. He is at the door, I just have to let Him in.

Those of us who feel life more intensely tend to be harder on ourselves. Be gentle on yourself. Remember these consoling verses: "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden light."

"Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart;
And those who are crushed in spirit he saves." - Psalms 34:18

"Draw close to God, and he will draw close to YOU." - James 4:8

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

Jesus Christ loves you and wants to be with you.

Hang in there and "Fight the Good Fight"! I highly recommend listening to this song called "Press On", by Bob Filoramo. I wish you could hear the whole song, but you will have to settle for the chorus (2nd paragraph). I encourage you to read all of the lyrics though! God's Blessings upon you!

By your writing I can feel your love for our Lord.....but satan knows you love the Lord also(and if you believe in the Bible note it talks about satan).I'll be short and just say the devil's lying to you so read/study Ephesian 6:12.......and know this,God loves you unconditionally and sent Jesus for You!

This is why it is so important to belong to a local body of believers and have fellowship with them. Another benefit of also belonging to a small group. There you will always have someone to listen, encourage, pray and come along side you when going through those valleys.

The Love that God has for us is Unmeasurable. Think of a King Who Offered who died so that his subjects can live. Earthly kings and presidents require their subjects to die for them, even for their mistakes .... think of someone who loved his creation so much that he die for them. Even we men cannot offer to die for what we have created, we cant die for our cars, our computers, our estates, business empires.. NO. God's love is beyond our ability to comprehend. Equally satans hatred for us is so much that we can not even comprehend how much he hates us.

God is a God of Now- He is concerned in only what is happening at the time called NOW. The devil knows this and of his most effective weapon is delay/procrastination. He knows that there is but just a short time before the second coming of the Messiah and he wants you to go to Hell with him- share his damnation. Unlike you who can call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved - the Devil has already been judged. His judgement was pronounced long ago and the time is now very near. He wants to take down as many that are made in the image of God (who he hates) as possible. he cant stand the fact that God loves us so he works day and night to destroy us.

Psalms 50:15: call unto me during your day of trouble and I will deliver you and thou shall glorify me. I recommend that you knee down and pray. call on Jesus using the scripture above ask Him to deliver You and and set you free from your current state and to lead you for HE said "I am the good shephard". Repent of all your sins and ask Him to lead you to full repentance and Holiness. He is faithful and just. He began a good work in you He will finish it. DONT DELAY. JUST DROP TO YOUR KNEES AND DO IT. Because time is short and our redemption draws near- don't be left behind. Luke21:28. OUR LORD IS NEARER THAN WE THINK. read His word read His TEACHINGS IN THE 4 GOSPELS
