Probably Not a Good One

I dont think I deserve to be in heaven for sure, but I hope I make it...I have alot of happy memories involved with my faith and alot of not so great ones. I had an awesome pastor who is a great family friend and he taught me so much about our faith.I used to feel so close to God, like I was always connected to him,but then some things happened that made my soul weary I guess.I am trying to get back to that connection, but It is more difficult than I realised it would be. All I can do is keep tryin and prayin and I have faith that it will work out.

I think we are at an age (I see you are in the 22-25) where society has many pressures on us, different from high school. It can become really easy to feel oppressed by the outside world, especially if we are feeding ourselves spiritually.
This is a time to stand your ground in faith, through good times and bad, so that in 20 years or what have you, we can be the women of faith that other young women look up to.

And now I see that this post is 4 years old. Yup. I feel smart.
In any case, if you read this, I hope things have turned around for you.

Glorygirl and Elle well said.
The "really cool stuff" from the devil is only fun for a short while.
Often the "cool stuff" "cost more than you want to pay, takes you further than you want to go, and keeps you longer than you want to stay." Not my original quote.
Just think about the consequences before you do the cool stuff.

which is why its so hard to be good.....

Works, deeds, are not required to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Faith is required, however how much? Well, (If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you) What a promise! How much needed? Oh, about this much 0. What a easy pass eh? How, do we enter in? We enter through the gates "With Praise & Thanksgiving " Whew! thought I might have to earn it! Not So! That is why salavation is a gift, through belief in Jesus. "Whosoever believes". None, not one of us deserve to to go to heaven, not one. What we need to do is accept the gift. Note. my comment is not meant to preach but to encourage .

Amen to that.
