Not Just What You Say

Being a Christian is much more than identifying with a group of people. So when I say I am a Christian, what do I mean?

  • I mean that I follow the Word of God to the best of my ability by reading, studying, and applying the Word to my life.

  • I treat others the way I would want them to treat me even when I don't want to.

  • I am quick to ask for forgiveness from others if I have wronged or offended them.

  • I don't live in shame; I am grateful and proud that I have grace, mercy, and salvation. God is LOVE.

But most importantly, "I am Christian" is not advertised by lip service, rather my actions. I realize that being a Christian is not an affiliation for me, it is a personal journey.
