How I Wish I Could Write.

I love drawing and thinking up stories all the time. I have too many characters too remember, but every time I create someone new I always have some sort of mini story behind them...so they aren't completely unused...or something. ^^" If I did happen to have just a little more patience, maybe I could concentrate on writing some of my ideas down and create some story that other people would understand and like as well as I do. xD I am not the best at explaining things. But I do know how to draw pretty well (not the most amazing artist ever, but still), so often I'm doodling things and whatnot. I do write some short stories with my brother, but those are more for humor purposes. ^^"

It's great that you have so many characters (and ideas) that it's hard to keep track of them. I recently learned that somebody at JK Rowling's publisher has had a full time job keeping track of all the characters in Harry Potter and making sure each character doesn't do anything inconsistent (Hagrid's eyes change color, or that sort of thing.)<br />

I bet if you picked a favorite movie and studied it you'd realize you already know a lot about storytelling. Look for details like what actions the characters do early on that make you know you hate them or like them. Or skip to the best scenes, and then back up a bit and see what the filmmaker does leading up to them that makes them that much more powerful.
