The Wheel Continues to Turn

Odd the reminders we get sometimes.

The equinox, the next turn in the wheel. Mabon.

Easiest to say it's a "thanksgiving". A celebration of the second phase of the harvest.

It is now a time of 'feasting', and giving thanks for the gifts of the year.

I'm busy in my kitchen... preparing things now. And while I feel my gifts have been few this year, or at least taken away, I do know I had them.

Sooo... this evening when I light my fire and say my thanks, I will think seriously of how those gifts came to me, what they truly were and are.
