Relativity: The Special And The General Theory

Going through a bit of an Einstein thing at the moment, as I do from time to time.

This is a small volume he was asked to write in 1916, to explain his theories to ordinary punters. He does it quite well. Translated from the original German it is a bit clunky in places, but the message gets across.

The absolute (ha, odd term for an Einstein) clarity of his mind is awe inspiring. I have spent a large fraction of my life wishing I could think like that.

Many of the muddle headed wombats here on EP would do themselves a service to read a little of this sort of literature, to help them understand what clear thinking means.

O I shouldn't be so harsh, should I.

It's a read I enjoy.
